Waking up in a groggy haze, a condition that was fast becoming trend, Flora immediately grasped her head. The pain was seemingly subsiding. With a grateful sigh, Flora began rubbing her temples to assist against the pain. However she noticed something felt
off. No longer was there a slight tugging from her ears with her ministrations. Odd, she thought. Opening her eyes and moving her fingers to the side of her head, she felt her heart drop. Clearly her hearing was intact considering that she could hear her own breathing, but her ears were not where they should have been.
Her arms shaking in fear she desperately searched for her ears only to be alerted to their location by their own wild swivelling. Moving her hands to the top of her head she grabbed onto her ears, only to cry in dismay, release her hands and bury her face in them.
